Classic Cookies

Classic chocolate chip cookies – who doesn’t love them?! These are the best homemade version of cookies. Vanilla and lemon zest give them a twist and a really nice aroma. This is a very simple and quick recipe; I also have a reel with step by step instructions you can follow to make these for your friends and family. These often make it to my daughter’s lunch box and are so much better and tastier than store bought cookies.

Always make sure to buy high quality ingredients, especially eggs, sugar, and butter! Flour can also be substituted for almond or coconut, if you’d like to make a gluten-free version.

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs
  • 150 gr butter
  • 300 gr flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract/bag of vanilla sugar
  • 8gr/bag of baking powder/bag
  • 100 gr brown sugar
  • 150g chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Whip eggs and sugar, add butter and beat until creamy and soft. Slowly sift in the flour, add the remaining ingredients and mix.
  2. Line the baking pan with parchment paper, use a cookie spoon to portion the dough into balls.
  3. Once all the balls are lined up press the dough a bit to flatten the balls which will give the cookies the right shape while baking.
  4. Bake for about 10 minutes at 320F or until golden brown. Let the cookies cool down and serve.
