Salted almond butter bonbons

I had a few of my ladies ask for low carb and keto friendly vegan dessert options. This one takes less than 30 minutes to prepare and feels especially good after that morning workout with some coffee ☕️ 

The recipe below yields about 10 , 35gr bonbons 

Ingredients:

  •  1 cup of dates (tightly packed)
  • 1/3 cup of almond or peanut butter
  •  1/4 tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil
  • Stevia chocolate (I use Lilly’s) and little bit of coconut oil for coating
  • Almond flakes (optional) 

Instructions:

  1. Blend dates with nut butter, salt, and oil. Spoon the mixture into ~10 balls & refrigerate for 5, 10 minutes.
  2. Melt 1 cup of stevia chocolate chips with a bit of coconut oil.
  3. Coat the bonbons in the chocolate and sprinkle with shredded almonds. Freeze or refrigerate.
